DEACON AND DEACONESS MINISTRY

The Deacons’ Ministry consists of eight members: Robert Greene, Chairman, Ronald Forrest, Assistant Chairman, Robert Watson, Sr., Bernard Watson, James Gunby, Pierce Sullivan, Robert Watson, Jr., Gerald Witt, and Clarence Griffin, Emeritus.
The purpose of the deacons is to assist the pastor and to oversee care for members of the congregation and needy persons in our surrounding community.


The deacons meet to discuss each of their wards (sick, hospitalized, shut-ins).
Our vision is to develop a loving community of believers, who, because of a sincere love for God, will have a growing commitment to know Christ, to make Him known, and impact the community and the world.
