Ushers are those in our church who are selected to help prepare the proper atmosphere that is conducive to a genuine worship experience.  They are workers with God, the pastor, and the congregation.

DEACON AND DEACONESS MINISTRY

The Deacon and Deaconess ministry represents the group of men along with their wives whom the disciples chose in Acts 6:2-3.  “It is not the reason that we should leave the Word of God and serve tables.  Wherefore, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business”.

They assist with the Communion, carry Communion to the sick and shut-ins, visit and pray for the sick, care for the widows and orphans, and serve the table of the pastor and his family.  The Deacons serve as arm bearers to the pastor.
